Silver Pitcher



Pair of places to store drinking water as high as 24 cm were made of pure silver. The top Pitcher decorated with carvings depicting the onions, while the lower Pitcher carvings depict sago palm scales. Both water place formerly used to service officials, were taken from the kitchen by servant. Both items are from the nineteenth century and no longer used for drinking water, but as inspiration for modern craft.
